# About visualize

> A free, open-source Agent Skill for making visual HTML that belongs to the project it came from.

## The project

visualize helps agents create and refine self-contained HTML: reports, diagrams, decks, plans, reviews, dashboards, tutorials, and more. It records visual context in files you can inspect and change.

The skill is free, [MIT licensed](https://github.com/display-dev/visualize/blob/main/LICENSE), and maintained in public by display.dev. The website, examples, and comparison pages are the marketing surface; the [visualize repository](https://github.com/display-dev/visualize) is authoritative for the skill itself.

## The relationship to display.dev

display.dev maintains visualize. Publishing is separate and optional. The skill can create a local HTML file without a display.dev account, and you can host that file wherever you choose.

## Demonstration content

The organizations, people, metrics, and conversations in the showcase are fictitious. They are designed to demonstrate the range of the skill without borrowing customer work or private transcripts.
